Okinawa (Yomitan) Murasakimura

1. What is Murasaki-Mura ?

You can enjoy an experiance of Okinawa calture or craft at Murasaki-Mura. Entrance Fee is JPY 600 for adluts and JPY400 for kids, and activities require an additional fee.

In Murasaki-Mura, there are Ryukyu buildings. These building was used for TV programme.

2. Chinsuko Making

We tried to make Chinsuko.(Additional fee is JPY500) Chinsuko is Okinawan biscuits which is one of popular sweets in Okinawa.
We received the dough of Chinsuko, and made it into various shapes. After that, staff baked the formed Chinsuko.

3. Making Brown sugar

Next, we tried brown sugar making. (Additional fee is JPY 1,080)
It is need to boil Sugarcone juice with coral for 2 houres, but we start lase 5 min. (I believe 'coral' means lime.)

After that, we mixed boiled sugarcone juice with chapsticks. Sugarcone juice changed from liquid to thick paste. After 5min waiting, it was finished.
